“Quattro Universi” (“Four universes”)

Quattro esseri umani, quattro donne, vivendo in diverse situazioni, provenendo da diversi posti… Claudia Angrisani, artista perugina che lavora con tecniche pittoriche miste, ha intitolato una seria delle sue opere “Campi di Separazione”. È enigmatico questo titolo per descrivere una situazione vissuta colletivamente negli anni 2020 e 2021: Separazione, anche forzata, isolazione, e la sfida – come anche l’occasione – di reinventarsi creativamente. Ma non è la cosa più bella che l’arte ci apre sempre possibilità di ri-creazione anche nelle situazioni più desastrose, anche quando sembra crollare il mondo?

I campi di separazioni del recente passato sono stati abbastanza tosti, minaccianti per le nostre esistenze, anche sradicanti… Comunque, dove c’è arte c’è vita, c’è comunicazione e c’è reinvenzione di un mondo migliore, interno ed anche esterno. Così i quattro universi, nonostante linguaggi pittorici e tecniche diverse, comunicano fra di loro e sembrano capirsi e sentirsi nel loro vissuto, esprimendo un mondo creativo e una certa catarsi condivisa.

Four human beings, four women, living in different situations, coming from different places… Claudia Angrisani, an artist from Perugia who works with mixed media, has entitled a series of her works “Fields (Camps) of Separation”. This title is enigmatic to describe a situation experienced collectively in the years 2020 and 2021: Separation, even forced separation, isolation, and the challenge – as well as the opportunity – to creatively reinvent oneself. But isn’t it the most beautiful thing that art always opens up possibilities for us to re-create ourselves even in the most desastrous situations, even when the world seems to be collapsing?

The separation camps of the recent past have been quite tough, threatening to our existences, even uprooting… However, where there is art there is life, there is communication and there is reinvention of a better world, both inside and outside. Thus the four universes, despite different pictorial languages and techniques, communicate with each other and seem to understand and feel each other in their experiences, expressing a creative world and a certain shared catharsis.
